CHANDIGARH: Indian Border Security force has claimed that it recovered at least three dozen balloons with messages in Urdu against India from various outposts along the Punjab border on Saturday.
Officials said most of the balloons were recovered from outposts in Ferozepur, Pathankot and Amritsar.
Some of the messages were addressed to PM Narendra Modi , daring him to ‘check and verify the valour of Pakistan armed forces’, Indian media said on Sunday.
India also claimed to have taken into custody a ‘Pakistani pigeon’ with Urdu scribble written on its wings from Bamial village in Indian Punjab.
The pigeon, detained by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, had an Urdu message addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to the Press Trust of India (PTI).
