LAHORE: A resident of Indian city Mumbai who had illegally entered Pakistan three years ago in search of ‘love’ ended up in jail as was reported on Friday.

According to details, Mumbai resident Nihal Ansari was missing for the past three years and it was only discovered recently he has been in custody of law enforcement for the past three years.

Ansari had reportedly entered Pakistan via Afghanistan and claimed he was here to be with ‘love of his life’.

Reportedly, Ansari befriended Kohati girl on Facebook which he claimed turned into love.

The Indian man entered Pakistan illegally to stop the arranged marriage of his beloved but had gone missing before he could find her.

The mystery was cracked when Attorney General of Pakistan confirmed the Indian man is under arrest and faces trial.

Ansari’s parents are glad their son is alive and want to come to Pakistan to meet him. NNI
