She added that all issues between the two countries will be discussed during the talks. She said Pakistan believes that the issues between Pakistan and India can be resolved through dialogue for peace and prosperity of the region. She said Pakistan has never shied away from engaging with India.

To a question about reconciliation efforts in Afghanistan, Tasnim Aslam said it is for the Afghan government to lead the reconciliation efforts. She said Pakistan is ready to facilitate the reconciliation process and it should be fully Afghan led and Afghan owned.

She informed the media that an Afghan delegation will visit Pakistan to discuss the modalities of the return of Afghan refugees.
