KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Wednesday urged the Indian media to play its positive role in resolving differences between the leadership of India and Pakistan instead of sabotaging the peace efforts.
The PPP MNAs Faqeer Sher Muhammad Balalani, Mir Amir Ali Khan Magsi and Nazeer Ahmed Bughio while strongly condemning the terrorist attack on Indian Airbase in Pathan Kot said that the Indian Media had in a great haste blamed Pakistan for the attack without any research and responsibility, which is tantamount to shifting the failure of India to Pakistan.
In a joint statement PPP Media Cell Sindh, the PPP Parliamentarians said that the India Media should not make efforts for sabotaging the Indian Premier Narendra Modi’s visit to Pakistan in past recent days and should rather play a positively vibrant role for friendly relations between the two neighbouring countries, which would be a great services to the over half a billion population of the Indo-Pak sub-continent.
They said that rather than holding others responsible for own misdeeds, Indiashould stop interfering into the affairs of other countries and should pay attention on the separatist movements in East Punjab, West Bengal, Gujrat and Bihar.
They said India should also stop proxy war in Afghanistan and Pakistan for its nefarious designs, as well.
The MNAs said that the government of Pakistan had indeed assured the Indian government that Pakistan would never support any form of terrorism but for the greater sake of peace in the region, it would continue to playing its dynamic role and Pakistan is fully adhering to its commitment.
They said Pakistan not only condemns all brands and forms of terrorism in any part of the world but as a matter of fact is the biggest victim of terrorism and is at war against the terrorism more than any other country in the world since past 15 years. NNI
