Indian Army lies regarding conducting a surgical strike in Pakistani territory have been all but exposed. Apart from the comprehensive briefing to journalist in Baghsar area of Bhimber district near the Line of Control (LoC) by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) which made it abundantly clear that the Indian claim is nothing but a laughable attempt to appease public another announcement important statement came from the United Nations. The Indian lies of cross-border surgical strikes were exposed before the world as the United Nations said its mission tasked with monitoring the Line of Control (LoC) ‘has not directly observed’ any firing along the LoC. The UN Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) ‘has not directly observed any firing across the LoC related to the latest incident,’ Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson for UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, told reporters. The claim of surgical strike in Pakistani territory has become somewhat of an embarrassment for the Indian military and the government. Modi’s government’s main motivation to come up with a baseless story of a strike was merely an attempt to appease the public sentiment at home. The public sentiment against Pakistan was built up primarily by the Indian media which was later fully endorsed by many leading celebrities in India. However, some sane voice in India condemned this war hysteria and lie. India must realize that war and allegations is not the solution to the Kashmir issue, the issue must be settled through dialogues and as per the United Nation’s dialogue a free and fair plebiscite is the only option India has. But if India persists on piling on military pressure than it should know that the Pakistani Army is more than capable of providing it a befitting response.
Indian claims of a surgical strike have become an embarrassment for them.
