ISLAMABAD: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr Tahirul Qadri has given another deadline for the removal of the government, saying that the current regime will be ended this September.
Talking to newsmen in his container, Tahirul Qadri vowed to return victorious from the Capital. He claimed that he is nearing success and that the sit-in protesters will be home for Eid-ul-Azha after ousting the government by the end of September.
To a question Qadri said he will not pay visit to the prime minister for settlement of prevailing political deadlock.
“If prime minister comes to meet me only then I will meet him,” he added
He said that his movement is making efforts for ‘real democracy’ and electoral reforms, adding that the struggle will be advanced along the lines of the French and Russian revolutions
The PAT chief expressed his astonishment on the ones boasting off themselves as the champions of democracy, inside the parliament. He added, “Earlier the decisions were made at the GHQ, but now a days these are made at the Raiwind Headquarters”.
He said neither one here is Imam Hussain nor Yazeed, adding that those titles are uttered metaphorically only.
Replying to a question, Qadri said that he pays taxes both in Canada and Pakistan.
