Islamabad

Parliament and the politicians that represent the people of Pakistan have made clear statements that they will protect the democratically elected government. It was almost like a dream come true to watch the members of national assembly speak from their hearts at a single prospect. Even the opposition of the ruling party took a very clear stance in this regard. However, can any one assure the people of Pakistan that by safeguarding the current democracy, rights of the common people could be guaranteed? It is the paradox of the year or perhaps the decade. Stranded protestors in Islamabad have become incognito personalities are they for good or worse we will have to wait and see.

The leaders or the political giants once again started the discussions on the demands of the protestors. This time may it be that all the concerned parties should be a little more flexible on their demands and solutions accordingly. The very basic of the problems is to avoid further civil riots. The deaths and the wounded will only make the situation worst. Islamabad is a symbol of peace and tranquility, currently the depiction of the events happening has changed the perception of the capital. For now Islamabad has become a surrounding of Azaadi chowk and D chowk only.

There is something which should be noteworthy for every self aware Pakistani. Actions that are being taken by the political giants are being recorded in history. There will be a time when our younger generations will study these happenings in the chronicles of Pakistan’s history. The examples that are being set today will be the pivotal points that will shape our nation’s future. Can our future generations let go of the reasons that had amplified the common reasons to the deaths of their ancestors. This will be very much the state of mind in the coming decades. Perhaps this scenario was meant to happen so that the true face of democracy could be witnessed.

In the context of the saddening events, one can only hope for the well being of this nation. Still, there is time and space to change the destruction that can befall on the people of Pakistan. The prime minister and the president of any country have to play the fatherly role that would understand their children and opt for the best decisions possible. There are many possibilities still for the better and worst, selecting the direction from this point onwards will be the fate of the younger generations for whom everyone strives for. Islamabad still looks forward for the better to come in this time of adversity.
