Inclusion of Musharraf’s team has caused friction in PMLN: Jhagra

There is friction within the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) because of inclusion of Musharraf’s team in the party; this was stated by Central General Secretary PML-N, Senator Iqbal Zafar Jhagra while speaking exclusively to Sardar Khan Niazi in Roze News program Sachi Baat. The Senator said that old friends of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif supported the Prime Minister a lot during his bad times. He added that due to the presence of Musharraf’s team on some important Government position there is concern in the party. The veteran politician said that the Prime Minister had made it clear that the Government won’t have an army of Ministers. He said that the Government has faced many challenges in just two and a half years. He said that Nawaz Sharif is the right person to lead the country out of crisis and that the Prime Minister is an extremely patriotic person. He said that the PM acted with patience during the sit-ins by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, he said whether it’s the Musharraf case or any other case, country’s interest should be the first priority. He said that in the greater interest of the country internal issues should be dealt carefully. Commenting on the IDP’s the Senator said that the IDP issue is the top priority of the Government. Responding to a question Jhagra said that the matter between the Interior Minister and the Defense Minister is their personal matter and Choudhry Nisar Ali Khan is focusing on the National Action Plan. He said that the issue of ISPR press release was blown out of proportion and good governance is part of the PMLN’s manifesto and the weaknesses will be rectified. He said the Pakistan China Economic Corridor will be a huge success.
