Dear Sir;
This is here to raise a concern about an issue regarding Chinese embassy in Doha. Sir I went to Chinese embassy in Doha last August 2015, where I waited for more than 30 min with complete legal documentation and requirements according to their website. After waiting 30 min a lady in councilor office ask me you are Pakistani, I replied yes.
She told me sorry we don’t give tourist visas to Pakistani nationals anymore according to new rule from Chinese government. I was shocked to hear that. I don’t know if it was insult or comment.
Sir I am an orthopedic surgeon and I traveled a lot around the world, I even went china, there was no such issue like that in Chinese councilor office here in Doha, Indian driver community were issued them 1 year visa, without investigation with different countries except Pakistani passport which was not welcomed.
I asked her can you please tell me why Pakistani are not accepted, she replied me In front of other nationals in a rude way. “Sir, it’s not you who are rejecting, it’s your country who are rejected in our list, don’t ask me, go and ask your country why they are rejected with us.”I don’t have other words to say by that time, I left their embassy and kept quiet by thinking it might be individual problem. But it was not individual problem, someone must raise this issue.
Three days ago I was sitting in guest house with other educated Pakistani community in Qatar where I heard the same issue by telling same story what happened to me august 2015 from more than, 15 people, this time I promised my self I won’t keep quiet, I was sure that its not individual issue, it regarding whole country, sir by saying something towards my personality, I can keep quiet but not our country.
Sir I hear a lot of stories that our bilateral relationship with china is very good and very strong, is that kind of relationship we have with Chinese government where our local Pakistanis are even not welcomed at all. I would rather understand if it happened to me in countries to me in India, not with Chinese, I am here to raise a complaint against the attitude of Chinese embassy against Pakistani nationals.
Since I am living in Qatar I have nowhere to go to raise my complaint except Pakistani embassy in Doha. I wished and hope this issue will be focused and seen and must be raised to foreign affairs in Islamabad to ask Chinese government to give us a valid reason, that why are Pakistani national rejected for tourist visas at all. Where whole world is accepted with them. Why????
Sir this issue is a serious issue for whole Pakistani issues on behalf of me and whole community; I am deeply requesting Government of Pakistan to raise a legal action in this matter.
