LAHORE/KARACHI/PESHAWAR: Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Khursheed Shah said on Thursday that both Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as well as the federal government should accept the final Judicial Commission (JC) report.
He went on to say that it was decided by both parties before the creation of the JC that the final verdict, whatever it may be, would be accepted by all parties.
Sindh’s newly-appointed Information Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro asked PTI chairman Imran Khan to apologise to the nation.
He said that Khan wasted precious time of the nation during his 126-day sit-in in Islamabad last year.
Khuhro further said that the Chinese President’s visit to Pakistan was also postponed due to the protest.
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq said that after the findings of the JC, the solution to the problem of electoral rigging is introducing electoral reforms in consultation with all political parties.
Senior Awami National Party (ANP) leader Haji Adeel demanded an apology from the PTI chief on behalf of the people who suffered due to the 126 day dharna (sit-in).
