ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has refused to meet the Jamaat-e-Islami amir Sirajul Haq, saying there was now no space left for holding dialogues.
A private news channel quoting sources in the PTI reported that the JI chief had sought time from Imran Khan for a meeting to urge the PTI to withdraw from its call of long march. However, the PTI chairman refused to meet the JI chief.
The reported quoted Imran Khan as saying that the time for dialogues was now over, while long march was inevitable. He said no dialogue process could take place now. The PTI has been pressing the government for holding mid-term elections and punish those found involved in rigging in the general elections last year.INP
