SWABI: Chief of Awami National Party (ANP) Asfandyar Wali Khan has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri will be responsible in case of any damage to democracy in the country.
Addressing a public gathering here on Thursday, Asfanyar Wali said that if constitution of 1973 was disturbed no new constitution would come into existence.
He alleged that the PTI chief was talking about rigging in polls in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan only despite the fact that there were clear evidences of rigging in election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
The ANP chief lashed out at Imran Khan for making efforts to bringing betterment in other provinces and paying least attention on his party-led KP province.
Asfandyar Wali said that hundreds of thousands people displaced due to ongoing military operation “Zarb-e-Azb” in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) but PTI led KP government had taken no step to facilitate the IDPs and they had to suffer.
He said that soldiers of Pakistan Army and tribesmen of NWA are rendering sacrifices for interests of country and masses but PTI chairman has not uttered a single word to express solidarity with them and pay tributes to their struggle for national interests.
The ANP chief also criticized KP Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak for dancing and making merry in the capital instead of taking steps to facilitate the IDPs of NWA who were facing acute shortage food, shelter and other commodities.
