PESHAWAR, Dec 16 (INP): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Tuesday said that he was devastated by today’s deadly attack on a school in Peshawar, which left 126 students killed.
Speaking to media persons in Peshawar on Tuesday, Khan said that terrorists have targeted school children, urging the nation to unite against terrorism.
“It is a collective failure. There should be no blame game on this tragic incident,” he said. “Every Pakistani is in a state of shock. There should be no politics,” he stressed
Khan said that everything is possible if Pakistani nation puts up a joint front.
“No such attack has ever happened anywhere in the world on a school. If there is any enmity, why should one target children,” he lamented.
He said that he would extend full cooperation to the federal government in tackling the menace of terrorism.
“The entire nation should decide how to deal with this situation,” he added.
He postponed the nationwide shut down of PTI on 18th December and said a Ghaiban-e-Namaza Jinaza would be offered at Dhowk on Wednesday.
