ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Saturday took to Twitter and mocked Pakistan Super League (PSL) Chairman Najam Sethi over alleged corruption of players.
Imran Khan said it is not more than a joke that Najam Sethi is talking about curbing corruption as he himself did it in 2013 elections. Khan said election-fixing is a greater crime than spot-fixing, as the former harms democracy and latter damages just a game.
Earlier, Najam Sethi tweeted that zero tolerance will be shown to those who try to damage or harm the game, and vowed to protect Pakistan cricket.
PSL chairman also said that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) anti-corruption unit will remain vigilant and continue to protect cricket from menace of corruption. NNI
