D G KHAN: Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif said on Thursday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan never responded to the notices sent to him over his claim that he was offered Rs10 billion for keeping mum on the Panama Leaks case.
Sharif was speaking in Dera Ghazi Khan during the inauguration of a clean water project. He said that when he pursued the issue in court over the PTI chief’s allegations, Imran never turned up for the hearings.
Shehbaz Sharif said if Imran can go to address rallies in different cities then he can definitely show up at court hearings as well.
“If I have taken even a penny from public then go to the court and prove it,” he said.
The CM Punjab said that he promises to make kidney and cardiac wards in DG Khan.
While coming to the subject of 2018 General Elections, he said that DG Khan will prove to be a stronghold for Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz.
The CM also laid foundation stone of two-way road from Muzaffargarh to Dera Ghazi Khan.
On the other hand, Shehbaz Sharif is expected to leave for London on September 23 as ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif has summoned him over former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar issue.
