ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervaiz Khattak on Wednesday conveyed KP’s reservations to the Chinese Ambassador over China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) during a meeting with the diplomat in Islamabad.
According to the details, the PTI chairman expressed his gratitude to China during a joint press conference and also expressed his differences with the Federal government on CPEC.
The Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan has stated that the country will benefit from CPEC project; however security was extremely important for the successful completion of the project.
A cake was also cut during the meeting, celebrating the new Chinese year. The Chinese diplomat also invited Khan to visit China which he accepted. NNI
