Imran beats Nawaz, Modi with same stick

MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) firebrand Imran Khan Friday night said that reason behind Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s criminal silence on the repeated violations of Line of Control (LoC) ceasefire by Indian forces was his son’s business interests in the so-called regional superpower.

“Nawaz’s son is doing business with Indian tycoons. How can a father put a dent in his son’s coveted profits?”, Khan said while speaking to yet another record public rally in Multan.

Imran Khan said Nawaz had also been following a tight-lipped policy on missile strikes on suspected militant targets in Pakistan.

“It is because, these attacks are being carried out with the consent of the government”, he added.

Addressing a stadium-full of PTI cohorts, Khan vowed to transform Pakistan into an Islamic social welfare state.

“I will take you to the promised ‘New Pakistan’… if you steadfastly follow my lead until the end. We will become the world’s greatest nation”, the PTI leader said.

PTI chief, after giving Pakistani prime minister his share of tongue-lashing, took aim at Indian premier Narendra Modi for not even trying to resolve Kashmir dispute despite having won a huge mandate.

“Mr Modi, I suggest that you better become a true statesman as you represent a whole country and not just one segment of Indian society”, Khan said sending an admonitory message to Modi.

Imran Khan added that had Modi been a statesman, he would have let Kashmiris get their long-denied right.

Earlier, AML chief Sheikh Rashid Friday warned Nawaz Sharif to step down as premier of Pakistan like a good boy lest Imran Khan should hold a massive public rally right in front of Prime Minister House.

“Mr prime minister, if any harm befell democracy because of you, the crazy, would set the government Houses on fire”, Rashid said while addressing a landmark Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf rally in Multan. Agencies
