ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain says future of the nation depends on the best education and training of the youth. He was addressing convocation of Virtual University in Islamabad on Wednesday.

He urged the students to achieve excellence in their respective fields to work for development and progress of the country. He advised the students to supplement government efforts to rid the country of corruption.

He said there is a need to take courageous decisions for meeting the challenges of terrorism, extremism, unemployment, poverty and ignorance. The President said implementation on National Action Plan is continuing to eradicate terrorism and extremism.

The President said armed forces and other law enforcing agencies are taking action against militants successfully. He said operation Zarb-e-Azb will continue till the elimination of last terrorist.

Mamnoon Hussain said terrorism has badly affected country’s economy. He said economy is improving due to prudent policies of the government.  He said all indicators of the economy are positive. He said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project will benefit Pakistan and the whole region.
