ISLAMABAD: Malik Ahmed Hussain Dehar participated in the programme “Sachi Baat” with the chief editor of the Pakistan Group of Newspapers and Chairman Roze TV News.

He stated, “Everything may be accepted, but criticising the Pakistan Army is not permissible.” Due to this, anti-national elements take advantage of critical institutions.

He further stated, “The army stands with the nation in every difficult time; conspiracies are being made against Pakistan and its institutions.” Responding to a question, he said, “Problems are being created; India and America cannot do harm, but insiders are harming Pakistan; conspiracies are being made against Pakistan from all sides; those who are weakening the country should be suppressed.”

Justice (R) Shaiq Usmani, a legal expert, spoke on the programme “Sachi Baat” via audio beeper. He stated, “The Supreme Court has provided ample opportunity to the government.” He further stated that “this government does not want to hold an immediate election; PTI is in favour of early elections because Imran Khan is currently at the peak of his popularity.” In response to the question, he stated, “I am completely opposed to the SUO MOTO Action; 52,000 cases are currently pending in judiciary.”

Dr. Shahid Hasan Siddiqui, an economist, participated in the programme “Sachi Baat” via video beeper. He stated, “The country is currently facing serious threats: encirclement is being done against Pakistan; some of our politicians say daily that the country will default; I still say today that Pakistan will not default; Pakistan will not default even in 2023; Pakistan has just made some payments; and the IMF imposes the toughest sanctions in history.” He further stated, “The Pakistan Army is the guarantor of a strong defence of Pakistan; external conspiracies are taking place against Pakistan; and chaos is being deliberately spread in the country.”

Similarly, economist Mirza Akhtar Baig participated in the programme “Sachi Baat”. He stated, “Our country is currently facing numerous problems.” “Pakistan has made some payments, but some are still to be made, all the political parties can take the country out of crisis with collective effort.” If the country’s economy is strong, then the confidence of investors will increase. If we make timely payments, we will avoid default. “Pakistan’s economy is improving.” Responding to the question, he said, “The business community has submitted suggestions to Ishaq Dar.” “It is important to provide opportunities for the business class of Pakistan.”

Meanwhile, ex-Secretary Election Commission Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad participated in the programme “Sachi Baat” via video beeper. He stated, “The electoral and economic systems are indispensable; transparent elections are very important for the country; there will be political stability in the country, and the economy will also be strong.”

He further stated, “Pakistan will be stronger with the government that comes as a result of the transparent election; there is an urgent need to bring reforms to the electoral system; it is difficult to achieve a strong electoral system without bringing electoral reforms; it is impossible to get an election under the electronic voting system,” he concluded.
