Leading wicket taker of Pakistan Saeed Ajmad has been sidelined for illegal bowling action and team was trying to find a suitable bowler to fill the gab but shocking news emerged when World Cup is hardly two months away that Muhammad Hafeez has been suspended to bowl for his illegal bowling action. Now he would not be able to bowl until he would not get a green signal after working on his bowling action. Hafeez is a leading all rounder in international cricket but questions are being asked would he be able to justify his place in the playing eleven when he would not be bowling.
Pakistan cricket team appears to be in a difficult position before entering the big show, i.e. the World Cup 2015. Hafeez was twice reported before on his suspect bowling action and so was Saeed Ajmal before finally being suspended. Ajmal is still working on his action, so the team could not really afford this loss because it does not have any back up.
The problem however, goes deeper. There is no screening process through which bowlers while playing domestic cricket could be monitored. By the time they appear in international cricket, if their action is flawed, it is difficult for them to rectify it so quickly.
