CAPE TOWN: The citizens from Pakistan gathered in front of the Pakistan High Commission to South Africa to protest against ill treatment of the staff and difficulties they face to renew their passports. Protesting citizen were of the view that management of the High Commission do not renew their passports of the pretext of one or another and they keep visiting to face humiliating behaviour of the staff.

Citizens have cued up and were sleeping outside the Commission on the pathways as well as the surrounding areas of other diplomatic commissions thus virtually making it impossible for humane conditions to exist regarding sanitary conditions as well as complaints from the citizens themselves that they are being harassed by Commission representatives.

Certain female citizens have already complained that they are being treated badly by officials from the Commission. “The comments that are known to us are of a rather derogatory nature as it is totally inhumane thus we are now requesting the recall of Mr Husnain Cheema assistant director of the passport division at Pakistan High Commission to (South Africa).” They said.

This news compiled on eye witness we himself witnessed for all injustice giving by High Commission and Mr. Akhtar Hussain visited our bureau office personally and he lodge complaint. Mr. Akhtar Hussian told Roze News bureau that he reached high Commission and Husnain Cheema took his passport and took him in a back room where two other persons came and he was threatened by all of them. Akhtar Hussain provided the video to Roze News in which it is evident that he was threatened by the officials of High Commission. He further said that behaviour of the officials with Pakistanis living in South Africa is very indecent.
