ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has announced a reduction in working hours during the holy month of Ramazan.The Registrar Office has issued a notification regarding working hours for IHC, civil courts and sessions Court after getting approval from the Acting Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar.
From Monday to Thursday, the IHC will hear cases from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and there will be a 30-minute break. They will resume hearing at 12 pm till 1:30 pm. On Fridays, the IHC working hours will be observed from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.The notification states that Saturday is reserved for dictating judgments.
The civil and sessions courts will observe working hours from 9 am to 2:30 pm from Monday to Thursday while they will close at 12:30 pm on Fridays.
