ISLAMABAD(PR): Inspector General Zulfiqar Cheema distributed certificates amongst the female participants of the First Ladies Driving Training Course conducted at National Highways & Motorway Police, Road Safety Training Institute, Islamabad. A six-week driving training course was devised only for females upon the instructions of Inspector General.
The course started in August 2014 and women from different walks of life, including senior civil servants, Ph.D doctors and medical doctors, enrolled themselves in the course. The participants lauded the standard of training, environment and professionalism of Motorway Police instructors and said that the training standards are at par with any European country which has enabled them to drive with confidence. Instructors have not only taught them to drive but have also familiarized them with the concept of good behavior during driving.
