TIMERGARA, Dec 22 (INP): Hundreds of Jamaat-e-islami activists in Darmal Bala village of Lajbok union council joined the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) here the other day in the presence of party leaders. The workers of Jamaat-e-islami included Mohammad Rahim, Haji Bahadar Khan, Haji Bunir, Wahid Jan, Mohammad Ayub and others along with their family members joined the PPP.
At the occasion ex MPA Mohammad Zamin advocate was on the chair. He said that PPP is the only party which raises voice for the rights of poor and neglected peoples while the leaders of others parties are not sincere in solving problems even of their workers and the behaviour of the JI and PTI leaders are indifferent in this regard.
He said a number of developmental projects had been completed in the neglected Maidan Valley of Lower Dir in the last government and also lost his brother in this constituency.
The people joining the PPP, said that they had been associated with JI for the last two decades but now they will be working for their new party till the end. They said that the PPP elected members had done many schemes in the area and were financially supported poor masses under the Banizar Income Support Program (BISP). The party leaders welcomed them of joining the party. The meeting was also addressed by former, nazim Mohammad Zaman Khan, Subhanuddin and Wahid Jan.
