The miracle of China’s long-term, stable, and rapid economic growth, according to Chinese President Xi Jinping, was made possible by Hong Kong, stated on Friday. Xi made the comments during a gathering commemorating the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland and the start of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s sixth term of governance (HKSAR)
The “One Country, Two Systems” policy had been successfully implemented in Hong Kong for the previous 25 years, according to Xi.He added that no obstacle had prevented Hong Kong’s progress since the region had overcome all of them and had advanced steadily. He said that Hong Kong’s economy had expanded strongly, maintaining a strong position as an international financial, shipping, and commerce hub, with rapid development in creative technology industries, leading freedom and openness culture, and a top-notch business climate
