NEW DELHI: Hindu extremists stormed a town office of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in New Delhi, destroying computers and windows of the office besides harassing the staff.
According to a PIA spokesman, unknown miscreants attacked the PIA’s office in New Delhi and he is in touch with authorities to obtain more information about the incident.
The PIA spokesman said the staff is safe; however, reservation system has stopped working. He said the Indian government has been asked to provide sufficient security to the PIA office.
The spokesman said the Pakistan High Commission to India has been informed about the attack.

But a Pakistani High Commission spokesman Manzoor Memon said that the miscreants were activists of Hindu nationalist party – Bajrang Dal.
He said that the Commission has lodged a strong protest with the government of India over the incident.
Memon demanded the Indian government to beef up security of the PIA officials, saying it was the responsibility of the Indian government to provide them with adequate security.
The attackers are still present outside the office and chanting anti-Pakistan slogans. NNI
