RAWALPINDI: The airport security forces(ASF) personnel on Tuesday foiled a bid to smuggle heroin to Bahrain by arresting a smuggler at Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad.
According to ASF sources, a passenger named Qabil Khan was going onboard on a private flight to Bahrain. ASF personnel had searched his luggage and recovered at least 600 grams of heroin which was concealed in secret parts of the luggage.
The personnel handed him over to anti narcotic forces for investigation after registering a case against him.
