ISLAMABAD: There was a heated exchange between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeemul Haque and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Khurram Nawaz Gandapur outside the Supreme Court on Thursday.
Naeemul Haque complained that Gandapur was hurling abuses which prompted Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed to inform Haque that they were live on TV and he should speak softly.
Sheikh Rashid tried to pacify both the leaders but to no avail and Gandapur left the venue. According to reports, the trouble started as Gandapur moved to the rostrum for press talk and Naeemul Haq told him that PTI chief Imran Khan was coming to meet the media.
Speaking to media persons, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said he was pushed by Naeemul Haque. ‘Naeemul Haque pushed me with his hands and said his ‘Shahanshah’ (emperor) was coming,’ Gandapur said. INP
