Lahore: The HBLPSL 10 Team of the Tournament has been announced.
Shaheen Shah Afridi, who led Lahore Qalandars to their third title in four years, has been appointed captain of the HBLPSL 10 team. The team was selected by the members of the commentary team.
HBLPSL 10 was held from April 11 to May 25 in four cities – Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi. In the final at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Lahore, Lahore defeated Quetta Gladiators by six wickets.
25-year-old Shaheen Afridi not only won the Fazal Mahmood cap by taking the most wickets with 19, but is also leading a team that includes two of his Qalandars teammates.
Sikandar Raza and Fakhar Zaman earned a place in the PSL team thanks to their outstanding performances in the tournament.
The PSL team also includes three players from Quetta Gladiators, Hassan Nawaz, Abrar Ahmed and Shaheem Ashraf.
Three players from Karachi Kings have been included in the PSL team, including captain David Warner, opening partner James Vince and fast bowler Hasan Ali, while Khushdil Shah has been included as the 12th player in the team.
Sahibzada Farhan of Islamabad United and young talented fast bowler Ali Raza of Peshawar Zalmi are also part of the team.
