ISLAMABAD: Editor in Chief Pakistan Group of Newspapers and Chairman Roze News Sardar Khan Niazi has said that harsh language being used against the judiciary by certain elements is condemnable. He said that despite provocative statements and unjustified criticism the Courts have shown judicial restraint. Sardar Khan Niazi was speaking in Roze News program Sachi Baat. He said that judiciary decides cases as per the law and constitution. He added that the ruling party wants to build pressure on the judiciary by harshly criticizing it.
Commenting on the current political scenario and the recent statement of Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, he said that Ayaz Sadiq knows that there is ‘no government’, so how will it complete its tenure. He said that it is hard to see Assemblies complete their term in the current circumstances and added that elections could be announced before March.
Justice (retd) Wajihuddin Ahmad while speaking in the program said that Court has shown judicial restraint for now despite unjustified criticism. About the current political situation the retired Justice said that it seems that assemblies will be dissolved after the Senate elections in March.
