PESHAWAR, Nov 18 (INP): National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has arrested two private hajj tour operators allegedly involved in depriving over100 pilgrims of millions of rupee.
The accused identified as Muhammad Usman and Fahad Usman running a travel agency in the name of Karwan-e-Hujaj Pvt Ltd Hajj Tour Operator at Deans Trade Center Peshawar received approximately Rs.4,30,000/-per pilgrim (Haji) and offered them private Hajj facility.
When the Hujaj reached their office collection of their visa and passport, they found that the accused persons disappeared from the scene and deprived dozens of people from their hard earned money at one hand and deprived them for performing Hajj on the other hand.
Taking cognizance of cheating public at large, NAB KP actively pursued the investigation and arrested the culprits not only because it is a financial nature of fraud, regretfully they made Hajis their victims. The accused persons will be presented in the Accountability Court for obtaining their physical remand.
The affectees have been advised to approach office of the Director General (DG) NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PDA Complex, Block-III, Phase-V, Hayatabad Peshawar for registering their claims during office hours.
