ISLAMABAD: Petroleum prices are likely to go up by Rs5.75 per litre for the coming month of June.
According to reliable sources, the federal government may approve a proposal to increase petroleum prices in line with the spike in international market.
Sources add that petrol price may be increased by Rs1.25 per liter, high speed diesel by Rs3.61 per liter and light diesel by Rs2.97 per liter. The price of high octane is expected to go up by Rs5.75 per liter.
Similarly, kerosene oil is also likely to go up by Rs3.25 per litre.
The price of crude oil in the international market is nearing USD50 per barrel
