FAISALABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali says Government is committed to end power loadshedding by March 2018.

Addressing an open court in Faisalabad on Monday, he said the Government is also focusing on laying new transmission lines and upgrading the existing distribution system.

The Minister said the government is working not only to overcome the energy shortage but to cut down tariff to a reasonable level.

He said the Government has invested billions of rupees on new grid stations. He said efforts have been made to ensure smooth supply of electricity to people during Sehr and Iftar.
