LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto on Thursday warned that if the party’s four demands were not met by December 27, the party’s current slogan ‘go Nisar go’ would turn into ‘go Nawaz go’.
The PPP Chairman was addressing the media in Lahore after expressing his grief with family of senior PPP leader Jahangir Badar, who passed away on Sunday night.
‘We will not take any u-turn on our demands,’ added Bilawal.
Bilawal also announced that the new organisational setup of PPP in the province of Punjab will be announced in the coming days.
Bilawal had warned that a campaign for early election will be initiated if PPP’s four point agenda was not met before December 27 last month.
It is pertinent to mention here that the PPP’s four demands are: reconstituting a parliamentary committee on national security, passing the Panama bill drafted by the PPP, implementing a resolution regarding the CPEC and immediately appointing a foreign minister.
