ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the recent foreign trips of Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa have been very fruitful and have helped Pakistan soothe its relations with some of its neighbours, adding that as the Chief of Army Staff he is part of the Pakistan government.
The Prime Minister was speaking to Sardar Khan Niazi in Roze News program Sachi Baat on Friday. Responding to a question by Sardar Khan Niazi regarding the visit of Army Chief to Iran and Afghanistan, Khaqan said that such visits do happen from time to time and such relations are maintained with other countries.
