The suspects are suspected of sharing classified information with the German newspaper Bild and other Israeli journalists.
Israeli Judge Menachem Mirzahi has said that several suspects have been arrested for questioning and the investigation is still ongoing, but the identities of the suspects have not yet been disclosed and are being concealed, while Netanyahu’s office said in a statement. Some analysts have said that the Prime Minister has assistants who work for him but are not official employees of his office.

One of those arrested has been an adviser to Netanyahu for the past year and a half, who is said to have been with him every day in the prime minister’s office, sat with him, accompanied him on every trip. , attended all consultations and even traveled in the convoy with the prime minister, Netanyahu personally called him every day, consulted and sent him on missions.
Israeli Channel 12 also aired several blurry photos of the man, including one of him in a room with Netanyahu and several other ministers.
Among those arrested was a spokesman for the Prime Minister’s Office who was said to have been hired without security clearance. The man also had access to classified documents and used to have secret visits with the Prime Minister.
On the other hand, the Israeli opposition has held Netanyahu responsible for this scandal, saying that he is trying to exonerate himself from this matter and blame others, but the facts are the opposite. In fact, he himself is responsible for every paper that leaves his office.
