FPCCI status to be elevated to int’l standard: Presidential candidate

FAISALABAD, Nov 15 (INP): Presidential Candidate for Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) elections Mian Muhammad Adrees has announced to elevate the status of chamber to the international standard by observing best practices without availing any financial benefits or perks.

In a statement issued on Saturday after his nomination by the United Business Group, Mian Adrees said that this organization was the trust of the business community and he would try his optimum best to make it world level organization representing the business community of Pakistan.

He said that he has already prepared a travel itinerary to visit all chambers of commerce across the country and establish direct contacts with the office bearers and leaders. He said that all chambers and affiliated trade bodies would be taken into confidence on all issues of national importance. FPCCI policies would be framed in accordance with the Chambers consensus and the business community, he added.

Mian Adrees said that proposals and recommendations for the trade and business related policies would be presented to the concerned government departments and ministries. He said that various standing committees and business councils would be constituted in the FPCCI to address the problems being confronted by the private sector.

The Presidential candidate for FPCCI further stated that he would try its best to establish cordial working relationship with the government to get resolved the issues and problems faced by the business community of country.
