QUETTA: At least four Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were martyred in Quetta when unknown gunmen opened fire on their vehicle.
Rescue sources said that unidentified militants ambushed a vehicle of FC at Double Road in the provincial capital Quetta while it was on routine patrolling.
Three FC personnel died on the spot in the terrorist attack while three others sustained wounds of which another also succumbed to his injuries during shifting to hospital. Two were under treatment in critical condition.
The security forces cordoned off the area after the militants attack and launched search operation but the assailants managed to escape and no arrest could be made.
