Former ‘RAW’ chief admits Kashmir issue as the core issue between Pakistan, India

Kashmir v3

NEW DELHI: Amarjit Singh Dulat, former chief of Indian spy agency ‘RAW’ has admitted that Kashmir is the core issue between Pakistan and India.

While talking to Indian TV, he said ‘Modi will have to talk sooner or later’

Indian Government’s agenda is something different from Kashmir issue and Indians have done lot of mistakes in handling this issue.

He also said that talks and dialogues between both rivals have no importance without Kashmir issue.

He said Parvez Musharraf’s, former Pakistani president and Chief of Army staff, 4 points on Kashmir is the only solution to the issue as more than 90% Kashmiris were happy over the formula presented by Musharraf.

Musharraf’s 4 point formula on Kashmir issue is as follow:

There should be agreement that Kashmir is the central problem between two states.

Identification of those loci and plans that are unacceptable to the other side.

Take up consideration of other proposals.

Solution acceptable to Pakistan, India and the Kashmiri people should be agreed.
