ISLAMABAD (INP): Former president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) women wing, Fauzia Kasuri is engaged in raising funds from Pakistanis residing in US for sit-in of her party in Islamabad.
Sources said that Fauzia Kasuri has been tasked to raise $600,000 fund and she has achieved half of the targeted amount during two weeks.
During her visits to different states of US in connection with fund raising campaign, she has claimed that the PTI chief Imran Khan has promised to appoint her ambassador of Pakistan to US after coming into power. She was also assuring the donors that she will facilitate them after being appointed as envoy.
Fauzia Kasuri has visited Washington, New York and New Murray states for fund raising and was hopeful that she will succeed to collect $600,000.
The PTI supporters in the said states and an organisation of Pakistani origin US doctors have played a key role to help Fauzia in fund raising.
