KHAIRPUR (INP): Five young students were injured when portion of a school building collapsed here on Thursday.
Rescue sources said that a portion of dilapidated government primary school building located in Wari Goth of Khairpur caved in when the students were busy in routine academic activities.
Five school children injured in the incident were pulled out from the rubble and shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment.
The parents of students expressing grave concern over condition of the school building have demanded the provincial government and concerned ministry for taking the notice and steps for repairing or reconstruction of such dilapidated school buildings as any such incident could result in loss of precious lives.
