KARACHI (NNI): At least five persons were killed and several injured in two separate incidents in the mega city on Sunday.
According to details, four terrorists, riding on two motorcycles, sprayed bullets at people present in a hotel located in Federal-B Area, Hussainabad.
As a result of firing three persons identified as Imran, Naveed and Sajid died on the spot while another sustained critical wounds.
Police arrived at the scene, collected the evidences from the crime scene where 12 bullets were recovered.Citizens have expressed grave concerns over the prevailing law and order situation in the city.
In another incident in Chakiwara area of Lyari two gang war suspects were killed in an encounter with Police on Sunday. They were identified as Zakir alias David and Aziz alias Chandi. Police said they were involved in incidents of murder,kidnapping and other crimes.
Violence continues to prevail in Karachi despite the ongoing targeted operation against the criminal elements in the provincial capital.
