SARGODHA (NNI): The police arrested five criminals during separate actions in different areas of Sargodha besides recovering arms and drugs from their possession.
An accused identified as Muhammad Ramzan hailing from Shahdara was arrested along with over one kilogram heroin during a crackdown in Sahiwal police station jurisdiction.
The police arrested four culprits including Haq Nawaz, Sarfraz, Muhammad Ajmal and Shafaqat Ali during separate raids in Chak No 11/ML, Tatrian and Chak No. 107-RB for keeping unlicensed arms. A shot gun, rifle, two pistols and hundreds of rounds were recovered from the possession of detainees.
Police have registered separate cases against the nabbed culprits at concerned police stations and started the investigation.
