KARACHI: First international small arms shooting competition was inaugurated today (Sunday) in Police training centre in Karachi by International Police Association’s (IPA) President Shoaib Suddle.
On this occasion, Senior Superintendant police (SSP) Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Maqsood Memon was also present.
More than 100 people including 25 women participated in the competition whereas all the shooters belonged to law enforcing agencies.
While talking to media, Shoaib Suddle stated that these competitions will help in portraying a positive image of Pakistan whereas the law and order situation inKarachi is improving with the passage of time.
He said that foreigners could not take part in the competition due to travel restrictions.
On the other hand, SSP Special Investigation Unit said that SIU commandos are playing a pivotal role in fight against terrorists.NNI
