KARACHI: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has taken a decision to send a team to arrest former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani on Friday.
According to sources, a team will be en route to Multan from Karachi as per court order.
FIA presented challans against the Makhdoom Ameen Fahim and Yosuf Raza Gillani in as many as12 cases. The court accepted the challans and ordered the agency to present the alleged culprits before court on September 10.
Out of 12, at least seven cases are against Gillani while five against Fahim. The two are alleged of at least Rs 500 million corruption. FIA has appointed Chana as special public prosecutor in the case.
