ISLAMABAD:  Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar says he is ready to form a commission pertaining to the performance of the Federal Investigation Agency .

Nisar reacted to former president Asif Ali Zardari’s earlier statements regarding FIA and said he was ready to form a commission regarding the matter, if that was what Zardari wanted. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar also said that the Federal Investigation Agency would not provide relief to corrupt and dishonest people. He also reiterated that FIA will not be used against political opponents or those who were innocent of any crime.

Former President Asif Ali Zardari had issued a statement that FIA was doing the same thing that NAB was doing. This statement was issued by the PPP leader after Nawaz Sharif had lashed out at NAB and urged the body to stop disgracing people.

Chaudhry Nisar also said he was ready for the judicial scrutiny and thorough checking of cases that were being investigated by the FIA. Chaudhry Nisar has been in the news lately for issuing statements against members of the Sindh government. Nisar had said a couple of days ago that some people were speaking out against him since he had his foot on their tale.
