The Federal Cabinet would meet today to review the package of constitutional amendments today (Sunday).
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would preside the meeting.
The meeting would assess the country’s overall political and economic situation, as well as the package of proposed amendments.
Originally scheduled for 11 am, the meeting has been rescheduled to 3 pm.
During the session, Federal Ministers Mohsin Naqvi and Azam Nazeer Tarar would update the cabinet members on their meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman and would discuss his demands.
Following the Federal Cabinet’s approval, the constitutional amendments package would be presented to Parliament.
