Fawad Chaudhry, senior vice president of the PTI, on Saturday cautioned the government about raiding Bani Gala, stating that if it did, Jati Umar and other PML-N officials’ homes would be close by.
The former information minister revealed to press that Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Attaullah Tarar & Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah are the targets of investigations.
“What dread do Tarar and Sanaullah have? They ought to turn themselves in to the authorities, “Fawad warned the ruler that PTI might use street power to overturn the federal government in five days if it so desired.
Fawad stated that he felt “pressed” in answer to a query concerning Shahbaz Gill, the head of staff for PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
“Shahbaz Gill had been under pressure to acknowledge that his remark was made in accordance with Imran Khan’s instructions. Gill, however, informed the court that this was untrue and that his statement isn’t the result of any instructions “said he.
Following his provocative comments on Tuesday, Gill has been in police arrest ever then. His request for bail was also turned down.
Khan has also expressed his disagreement with Gill’s contentious statements, saying that he “shouldn’t have spoken that.”
