FAISALABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri Sunday said that “Inquilab caravan” has won its first battle as tens of thousands of people attended his public rally in Faisalabad.
Addressing the PAT supporters here Sunday, Qadri said people of Faisalabad have given a verdict against the government, which he said is the judgment of whole Punjab.
He said that the “movement for revolution” against feudal system has been commenced from Faisalabad.“Now no power can stop revolution,” Qadri added.
He said that PAT has given a 10-point socio-economic agenda for the people of Pakistan.
“I have given an agenda which will ensure bread and employment for poor people,” the PAT chief said.
Speaking on the occasion, PML-Q leader Pervaiz Elahi said that blood of 14 people who lost their lives in Model Town tragedy will not go in vain.
Elahi challenged Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to a debate on television.
“I will make Shahbaz Sharif on the run by stating facts,” the PML-Q leader said.
He congratulated Dr. Tahirul Qadri for holding “successful rally” in Faisalabad.
Elahi said that the people of Faisalabad have given a verdict against the incumbent government.
Criticizing the government, he said that it has failed to take up the issue of recent ceasefire violations with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Agencies
