Islamabad: In the first quarter (July to September) of the current financial year 2024-25, Pakistan received a total of two billion 30 million dollars in external funding.
According to the data, a total of 2 billion 300 million dollars of external funding has been received during the three months so far, including one billion dollars of the first tranche of the IMF loan program.
According to the details, apart from IMF, 1 billion 230 million dollar loan was received from other financial institutions and countries, Pakistan received an external grant of more than 70 million dollars from July to September.
International financial institutions gave 482.9 million dollars in loans from July to September. Bilateral countries including China and Saudi Arabia provided 250 million dollars. This year, a total of 19.39 billion dollars of foreign funds are estimated to be received.
Saudi Arabia’s five billion and China’s deposits of four billion dollars are included in the expansion. Another billion dollars is likely to be received from the IMF this financial year.
